Each year Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative sponsors two students to go to Washington, DC to visit our Nations Capital. The Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives in Des Moines coordinates the Youth Tour. Tests are given in local area schools to determine the winners. Anyone having a junior in High School, living in Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative's territory should encourage his or her child to participate. http://youthtour.iowarec.org
