Each year Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative, Rock Rapids, Iowa, awards one $1000 scholarship to a student of a member of Lyon Rural Electric Cooperative. The scholarship can be used to assist in paying for the costs of the student's college, vocational-technical or community college education. Priority will be given to applicants planning to attend vocational-technical, 2-yr community or junior college education.
